Bombax malabaricum (Shalmali, Silk Cotton Tree) Dry Extract

Dry extract of Bombax malabaricum gum, standardised to 15.0% mucilage and supplied as a spray-dried powder. The accepted botanical name is Bombax ceiba L. Bombax malabaricum is the name the trade uses.

Known in Ayurveda as Shalmali and in English as Silk Cotton Tree.
