Acacia catechu (Katha, Black Catechu) Dry Extract
Dry extract of Acacia catechu heartwood, standardised to 40.0% tannins by titration and supplied as a spray-dried powder. The accepted botanical name is Senegalia catechu (L.f.) P.J.H.Hurter & Mabb. Acacia catechu is the name the trade uses.
Known in Ayurveda as Katha and in English as Black Catechu. Traditional Ayurvedic use: Digestive & Gut Health, Skin & Hair (Cosmetic Actives).
